Self-myofascial release group sessions are 30 minutes to an hour long and are an opportunity for the client to come in and practice SMR and stretching techniques with the trainer observing form. The trainer can help the client with any problems he or she may be having and offer alternative options or suggest additional muscles that would benefit from SMR or stretching.
These sessions are not as structured as a regular self-myofascial release session and the focus is more on reviewing what was learned in the regular sessions. These sessions may not be one-to-one. There could be other clients in the session.
